Chu is a PhD student studying the wild rock hyraxes in the Ein Gedi nature reserve, just aside the Dead Sea in the Judean desert. His interest lies in the understanding of the connection between the hyraxes’ social network and sexual interactions. He can rely on his background in behavioural ecology (M.Sc., LMU Munich) and experience in field research studying the selection pattern on Great tit personality. His love and passion for wildlife empower him to get up every day before dawn and hike up the canyons while the hyraxes are still wandering in their sweet dreams inside their sleeping den.
